Read what some of the dancers had to say about their OSDI experiences: "I've never done anything quite like this before and I have never felt so fulfilled doing anything so much as this. In spite of the times in which I struggled against sore muscles and the stress, being able to complete this process has been an adventure and a triumph. I will return for many years, hopefully. Thank you so much!" "Once again, OSDI has given me new insight about dancing, my dancing habits and preferences and life in general as well I've gained a lot of great experiences and interactions with new people and I've learned a lot about myself. I have a new appreciation for dance."

"I was so happy to discover that Edmonton does have an exciting, moving, modern dance scene. I recently moved to the city, and before discovering Orchesis (existed), I was shocked by how little modern dance there was." YOGA FOR DANCERS as taught by David Flewelling: " …was a great start to our days. David has a very informative teaching style and through his class I learned a lot about my body, its limitations and abilities I didn’t know existed." "Awesome, amazing, genuine and articulate teaching – extremely relevant for dance."

CONTEMPORARY MODERN & JAZZ as taught by Jeannie Vandekerkhove and Emily Noton: "The technique classes were awesome. Both Emily and Jeannie kept their classes flowing and changing, constantly. The movements and the techniques that were taught really helped to expand my knowledge of the styles." "Modern kicked my butt every time but it was a good challenge."

IMPROVISATION AND CONTACT as taught by David Flewelling: "– helpful instruction really took students (me) to a new level! Thanks! "  "I initially struggled with this class because I was always thinking about the movement but David really encouraged us to just live in the movement, which was great!"

IMAGE BASED PROCESS FOR DANCERS as taught by Kristine Nutting: "I could write a novel about this class. I have struggled with my own creative process quite a bit and this class presented me with an entirely new and effective method of creation Kristine Nutting is a goddess!"
"Got my creative energy going! Really neat way of creating movement."
