- Winter term 2010 Orchesis REGISTRATION began November 30, 2009 at the Campus Recreation ARZ office. To register in person go to room W-79 of the Van Vliet Centre (PER) between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday or Phone: 780-492-2231 during business hours or FAX: 780-492-7190. Credit card only for Phone and FAX registrations.
- Classes fill up early. If you have missed out and classes are full, ask to be placed on the waitlist by calling the Campus Recreation ARZ office: 780-492-2231
Due to safety and risk management concerns, we can not more than our maximum limit into full classes.

Orchesis is a modern and jazz dance program offered by Campus Recreation for dancers of all abilities and experience.
Full membership offers participants:

Dance training through weekly modern and jazz dance classes.
Dance training through weekly modern and jazz dance classes.

Various technical styles of modern dance with floorwork, barre exercises and traveling movement phrases, accompanied by live musicians

Jazz classes emphasize the practice and perfecting of technique, within the jazz idiom

All classes consist of preparatory exercises, locomotor work across the floor, stretching and the learning of dance phrase combinations.

Participation in modern and/or jazz dance at your level of ability. Your basic membership fee covers one (1) class per week but we are still offering a bonus 2nd class if you choose, at no additional charge provided classes are not full.

Optional performance opportunity at no additional charge when you register for a yearly membership. Dance Motif is our annual concert showcasing Orchesis choreography and talent.

Annual Members are eligible to apply for the Dorothy Harris Dance Award (undergraduate students) and the Orchesis Summer Study Award (undergraduate and graduate students)
