ONE DAY OF FREE TRIAL CLASSES
Usually mixed levels and admission is 1st come, 1st in the class.

Orchesis is a modern and jazz dance program offered by Campus Recreation for dancers of all abilities and experience.
Full membership offers participants:
· Dance training through weekly modern and jazz dance classes. Various technical styles of modern dance with floorwork, barre exercises and traveling movement phrases, accompanied by live musicians
· Jazz classes emphasize the practice and perfecting of technique, within the jazz idiom
· All classes consist of preparatory exercises, locomotor work across the floor, stretching and the learning of dance phrase combinations.
· Participation in modern and/or jazz dance at your level of ability.
· Your basic membership fee covers one (1) class per week. Additional classes cost 1/2 of your initial fee: Register for one, get the 2nd class at half price.
· Optional performance opportunity when you register for the ANNUAL membership by September 21 at 4 PM. Additional fees may apply. Dance Motif is our annual concert showcasing Orchesis choreography and talent. One term only registrants may not participate in the annual concert.
· Annual Members are eligible to apply for the Dorothy Harris Dance Award (undergraduate students only) and the Orchesis Summer Study Award (for eligible undergraduate and graduate students)

· Motif 2010 DVDs are available in the ARZ office. DVDs are $25 payable by cash or cheque.

When using these for your albums/portfolios, please acknowledge the photographer. You'll notice there are FIVE Orchesis albums online. The photos do NOT appear in perfect chronological order and sometimes are a out of order. Please scroll through the whole album because to locate photos from your dance. (The photographers used two cameras). Album 1 contains almost 400 photos taken during the WARM UP with Kathy before dress rehearsal.
